🌟 The Premier Winter Championship of the Western Cape

The Western Cape Aquatics Winter Short Course Championships 2026 brings together the province’s top swimmers for four days of elite racing, championship titles, medals, records, and unforgettable performances.

Hosted at the outstanding Generations Somerset West Aquatics Centre, this championship is one of the most important events on the Western Cape swimming calendar. Swimmers from across the province will compete in a full championship programme featuring all four strokes, individual medley events, distance freestyle races, relay competitions, and multi-class events.

The competition will be conducted under World Aquatics and Swimming South Africa rules and is open to fully registered swimmers who have achieved the required qualifying standards.
